Investiture Ceremony

On December 16th, we had our Investiture Ceremony for Girl Scouts. This was when we all offically became a Daisy Scout and a "sister" to the millions of Girl Scouts around the world. We all had to say the Girl Scout Promise and then we each had part of the Law to read out loud. There were a lot of parents there and even a few siblings and grandparents. Mommy gave each of us our new Daisy pin and two certificates. One was for Investiture and the other was the Welcome to Daisy Scouts. After the ceremony we had 3 different stations Mommy set up for us to play at. One was coloring, one was jewelry making and the other was was putting a giant cookie puzzle together. We had a great time running around playing, eating cookies and having juice boxes. After I got home, I did three good deeds so that my Daisy pin could be turned from upside down to right side up. It's some weird Girl Scout tradition.
Anyway - here are some pictures of the big event! Up next... COOKIE SALE! Starting January 10th we get to start selling cookies!!!!!!! That is sooooo awesome and I'm so excited about it.

Oh what fun you must have had. I'm glad you did 3 good deeds. I wish I had mommy as my leader when I was in girl scouts.

Love,
