Gymnastics Camp!

Today I started a week long gymnastics camp! I had so much fun on my first day. For a long time, I've been wanting to learn how to do cartwheels, but Dad said he did not know how to teach me. Well guess what. We're learning cartwheels and a bunch of other stuff! We also learned the bridge, splits, and how to do handstands. We also played in the foam block pit!
And I met a new girl and asked her name. It was Hailey! I asked if she wanted to be friends and she said yes. So now I have two friends named Hailey. Wow, I knew this would be a great summer.

I have corn!

We looked in my garden before dinner tonight and saw THREE corn cobs. You can see all the black hair they have coming out of the stalk. I, personally, think it looks like armpits.

In Her Own Words

Yesterday I went to Karen's house to learn how to swim a little. I know how to swim a little bit. I can swim a lot though. The water was kind of warm and cold. They were all cold.
Well, I kicked with the kickboard. And did you know that I can only swim with my life jacket. I have a Nemo kickboard.
I went swimming with Karen, Tim, and my Mommy, Daddy, and my little brother.

Freedom

Today I let my butterflies fly free. The were the "Painted Lady" kind and very pretty. My friend Julianna helped me. They all flew away except for one; he has a broken wing. I'll try to feed him if he is still in my garden in the morning.

ALL ALIVE!!

All FIVE of my butterflies are alive. The other 3 came out last night. I can't believe it - all five are alive! I will be keeping them around for a day or two then will let go outside in my garden.

Two are here!

I have two butterflies now! We looked in the house this morning and saw TWO! I sure hope the rest come out.

Moving on Up

Mommy moved my caterpillars to the inside of my Butterfly Pavilion today. All five formed their chrysalids. They've been eating all that brown food on the bottom of the container since I got them. When they ate enough, they crawled to the top and hung upside down from that paper. After they all made the cocoons, we had to move them. It should be a week or two before they come out. Then I get to feed them sugar water. I sure hope they all make it to butterflies.

A New Friend

I guess my garden is the place to be if you are a spider - this is one of 4 webs that's growing in my garden.

Butterflies and Camp

Life is so fun. Not only do I get to see most of my friends from my 'old' school, but at the camp I'm going to there are lots of new people. There are even 2 Ryans, like my brother. Isn't that silly? Camp is fun! We play lots of games, like parachute, kickball and relay races. We even made our own flags to represent us. And if that wasn't cool enough...
Today, the United States Postal Service delivered my caterpillars. I can't wait until they become beautiful butterflies. I'm so excited. I'll put pictures up soon.

Summer Fun

It's summer time... got my slip-n-slide & pool out! It's gonna be a fun summer.

Here are the pieces that I painted last week with Mommy. I gave the boy one (blue) to Ryan. I can't wait to paint more things.

Looking Good

Mom & I went to the dentist today for our 6m cleaning. I got a good report from Dr. Schmidtke. He's a little concerned about one of my molars - may end up being a cavity. I guess I should be brushing a little better. We'll see what happens in December.
